In what would appear to be the lowliest of matter, we might find one of the most precious, gold. This is not an uncommon association within the world of myth and alchemy and an image that evokes the sublimation process of the Galactic Center. Within the microcosmic body the Galactic Center is the keeper of the highest center at the Crown, while at the same time enveloping all the lower centers. It can be likened to Scarab, pushing a ball of fecal matter, hiding an embryo that will one day magically emerge as a fully formed beetle, an image of rebirth into higher spheres. It is a ’coming into being’ as the Egyptians would call it, embodied in the god Khepri who lent his visage from Scarab.
The Galactic Center represents Christic consciousness and a higher expression of the Human being. The birth of Christ holds the promise of Higher and Lower Self in union. Within the microcosmic body it is the mysterious event of an awakened Crown center, not an end point but part of the Human constitution lifted into higher spheres. A golden consciousness. The Aztec word for ’gold’ had the meaning ’divine excrement’ or ’the Sun’s excrement’. Not all ’shit’ can be refined however and some will be flushed into the abyss as part of the sublimation process of the Galactic Center.
Within my astrological study of song lyrics and poetry, a material closely connected to the Galactic Center turned into the main theme of several playlists. The Christmas hymn shows a clear correspondence between the birth of Christ and the Galactic Center. I will leave the links to these playlists below, to be studied any season of the year, as a reminder of the Human potential.
